AI consulting

Get good at working with AI, with someone experienced checking your work

If you are productive with AI tools but nobody around you can say whether you are doing it right, book a session. We look at how you actually work, tell you what is risky, what you can cut, and what to change first, and put it in writing. For teams and companies, the same approach scales up into reviews, onboarding, and workflow setup.

Who this is for

Working with AI on your own

You are a self-taught builder, or someone handed AI work you were never trained for, or the one person in your department who uses these tools seriously. You get things done, and you would like someone who has done this before to look over your shoulder.

A small team or a startup

You want someone to come in, understand how you actually work, and leave you better at it, without taking the work over or adding a layer between you and your tools.

A company with an internal champion

One person is bringing AI into more of the business and needs help with the workflows, the guardrails, and the case to leadership.

What people bring to a session

  • Agent workflows that work in one session and fall apart in the next
  • Several agents in one codebase, stepping on each other
  • Deciding where AI fits in a process and where it does not
  • Code that grew organically with AI help and now needs sorting out
  • Making the case to leadership for doing this properly

The sessions

Both are live and recorded, and both end in writing. Pick by how much you want looked at.

Working session

$295per session

For a workflow, a pipeline, or a codebase that needs a proper look, and a report you can act on or hand to someone else.

  • Up to 90 minutes live, recorded, working through your setup together
  • About 90 minutes of our review afterward, off the call
  • A confidential written report: what is risky, what can be cut, and what to change, in what order

Light session

$150per session

For a specific question, a second opinion, or a quick check that you are on the right track.

  • 60 minutes live, recorded
  • A short written list of recommendations afterward

Not sure which? Start with the light session. If the question turns out to be bigger than an hour, the recommendations will say so.

Terms for both sessions

  • Sessions are paid by card when you book, to Clocktower and Associates. A formal invoice for a booking is available on request.
  • Full refund if the session is not useful to you, as long as you say so before the final report is delivered.
  • We sign a non-disclosure agreement before seeing anything proprietary.
  • Either session can run asynchronously instead of on a call, with access to your projects, if that suits you better.
  • Larger or custom engagements are scoped and invoiced directly.

Where a session leads

The report is written so that it can become the scope for anything larger.

  1. A sessionWe work through your setup together and you get a written report: what is risky, what can be cut, and what to change first.
  2. A review, if the company is payingThe report is written to double as the scope for a larger review of a team or a department, priced like an Audit.
  3. Implementation, quoted from the reportOnboarding, workflow setup, a rollout, or cleanup work, each quoted from what the report found rather than from a sales call.

Larger engagements

For a company rather than one person. Each is quoted, and most start from a session report.

Company-paid review

$2,500 to $3,500, priced like an Audit

A review of how a team or a department is using AI tools, with a written report your leadership can read and your team can act on.

Team onboarding

Quoted

Getting a team productive with AI coding and agent tools, with working conventions they keep after we leave.

Multi-agent workflow setup

Quoted

Several agents working in one codebase without stepping on each other, with the session handoffs, guardrails, and review steps that make it hold up.

Rolling AI out across departments

Quoted

Working with your internal champion to take what works in one team to the next, including the case to leadership.

Cleanup work

Quoted from a session report

Sorting out code or a pipeline that grew organically, scoped from the report a session produced.

How the work runs

You stay the one who gets good at this

The aim of every session is that you, or your team, come out better at the work. We are not offering to run your AI for you.

Your domain, our workflow design

We design workflows and pipelines around the expertise you already have. If you build in manufacturing, law, or civil engineering, you know that field and we do not claim to. What we know is how to set the work up so your knowledge gets used properly.

The report says what to stop doing

What is risky, what can be cut, and what to change come first. A list of things to add is the easy part and the least useful.

Confidential by default

We sign a non-disclosure agreement before seeing anything proprietary. Session recordings are used for the review and are not shared.

If what you need is a defined technical build, such as an integration, an infrastructure change, or a security review, rather than help with how you work with AI, see Technology Consulting.

Questions about the sessions

Does it have to be a call?
No. Either session can run asynchronously instead, with access to your projects. You get the same written deliverable either way.
Is the session recorded?
Yes, so that we can review it properly afterward. The recording is used for the review and is not shared with anyone else.
What should I have ready?
Access to whatever you want looked at: the repository, the prompts, the agent configuration, or the process you are trying to improve. The more we can see, the more specific the report. If any of it is proprietary, we sign a non-disclosure agreement first.
What time zone are you in?
US Eastern. The booking page shows available times in your own time zone, and if none of them work, say so through the contact form and we will find one that does.
What if the session is not useful?
You get a full refund, as long as you say so before the final report is delivered.
Can my company pay?
Yes. Sessions are paid by card when you book, and a formal invoice for a booking is available on request. Larger or custom engagements are scoped and invoiced directly. A company-paid review of a team or a department is priced like an Audit, between $2,500 and $3,500.
Do you do the implementation?
A session ends with a report, not with changes to your systems. If you want us to do the implementation, we quote it from the report, and the quote names what we will do and what you will have at the end. Work that is a defined technical build rather than an AI workflow is scoped as a Technology Consulting project.
